Wow, its been 1 year since our move actually it was last Thursday on July 30th, when we left our house in IL to come to our new one. We signed all our papers on the 31st and our truck was here on the 1st of August. It's amazing how fast time goes by. The county fair is here again it was here right after we moved in last year. The boys have done good here and still are enjoying it. They can't wait to get back to school even though the little one won't admit it. :)
I love the area we are in, I absolutely love my house my dh picked for me. I'm slowly getting friends who enjoy my hobby as well. I've applied for my first job in 15 yrs its part time, but, really don't expect to hear from them, since I haven't worked in 15 yrs. lol It would be fun though if I got a call and an interview. Part time is good, I don't want to give up all my time and things I'm available to do now.
Can't wait to go further North for our vacation this year. I hear the area is beautiful as well. I sure hope its warm enough though. We leave in a couple of weeks. Even the dog is going with us.
The boys are doing great, just got the oldest back into martial arts and that keeps him busy 3 days a week. the little one is in track and likes it a lot. He is signing up for the first time this fall for tackle football and is excited for that. He will also be doing a 1/2 mile run in Sept for a fund raiser day in our new town. He did it last year as well right after we moved.
I can't wait to see the fall colors here again, they are just so beautiful. I love having the 4 seasons! Compared to Calif with 2 seasons, Hot and Hotter.
