Blast from the past

Recently I have chatted with an old friend from high school. It was fun to catch up on him and how he turned out. He happens to be a minister in AK with a great family and now grandkids. I think that is so fitting for him. Another blast from the past, I just found my very first best friend I met in Dos Palos where I grew up and went to school. Her and I met when I roller skated past her house several times when I was 9 and had just moved in with my dad and step mom. She was always there for me and even though we have lost touch over the last 8 years or so, it was like we just talked yesterday when I called her last night. She is doing well and lives in CO I found out she works only 10 mins from where my son is stationed at Ft. Carson, CO. This is so cool. When I finally get a plane ticket to get to see my son I will also be able to meet up with a very very good friend. I can't wait. PS we found each other on classmates.com , i sure wish they didn't charge though to get your messages. lol
