Saturday night we went at the last minute to some friends house and bbq with them and some new co-workers for dh who were also invited. It was a fun evening. There was about 17 of us there with only 4 families. This is where we saw the patio heater being used and we thought it would be a great addition to our deck. :) Yes, we are copying the neighbors~ I met another nice lady who moved in here from Washington, that also scrapbooks and the house we were at the mom there and I have scrapbooked as well, so it looks like we may have someone to scrap with. Her daughter also scrapbooks. After they get settled into their new house we are planning a scrap day.
Sunday I received some scrapbooking items I wanted. The boys and I went to the mall for some things that were needed. Then we stopped at Target to get a patio heater we saw on sale in the ad on Sunday. They didn't have them in stock. So I came home and called a couple of stores found one nearby and went and got it. While I did that, dh went and got the propane for it. Got the heater home and some assembly required, dh proceeds to get it together, at 80% done we find a part is not included. Called store they said come in we have 1 more box and will give you the parts, drive back there 20 min drive, and they open box and its missing same part. UGH, so our plans to use the patio heater on the deck last night didn't pan out. I'm going to try to call the company today who made it and see if I can get the part, if not I'll have to return the whole thing. All turned out good though. Our cousins came over and joined us for dinner, they threw the football for a bit in the yard, chatted, their dog and ours played and tried to chase the football down. It was a good evening with family around and good dinner. Dh does a great job with our bbqing.
