okay, it was a slow start today. We had a good weekend though. DH set up a meeting with another couple in the neighborhood that he plays poker with the guy. His wife scrapbooks so they decided to get us all to meet. We went over for drinks and a dessert saturday night. All went pretty good for our first meeting I think. Then Sunday a friend picked me up and we went to lunch together, a great hamburger place/bar. lol We ordered our favorite burgers and had a bloody mary with them. My first by the way. I liked it but didn't care for the tabasco hot of it. Then we walked across the street to a movie and saw He's just not that into you. It was an okay movie we had fun though. It was a great girls day out together.
I did get some good news from my son today, he actually got an A on his chemistry test and he finally got a c+ on his algebra quiz, the class he's been failing. yay! I'm so disappointed that I haven't been able to watch him play basketball with his team because of his grades. Maybe he will learn someday! We were so excited to get to watch him finally show his stuff on the court and then his grades is keeping him from playing . Really a bummer!
