I'm excited today. I'm scheduled to go to my first crop since we've moved here in July. I signed myself up for a friday night crop from 6pm to midnite. I have some preplanned pages ready to go. I am hoping to meet some fellow scrapbookers and maybe even make a friend or two there.
This move so far has been really good for all of us. DH really likes his job here and the people he works with. My 14 yr old actually is enjoying school and is coming home and doing homework for the first time in 3 years. Amazing in itself. I've checked the family portal and there are no missing assignments from him either. The 8 year old is doing good, although hitting 3rd grade he has a lot more homework than in the past and is not used to that part yet. He had started piano lessons in our old town and we have found a new piano teacher for him and she is right around the block from us. So no traveling and sitting in the car waiting for me. I like the community here, very friendly , very active and family orientated.
It is also nice that we have a cousin and his new wife living only 10 mins from us. It's been really nice to be able to get together with them on Monday nights for football. Plus the kids love having someone else come to there games to cheer them besides mom and dad and brother.

I hope you are enjoying your time at the crop. I am glad that you signed up to go. I'm betting you will be able to meet some new friends there! Can't wait to hear how it all goes.
and WOO HOOO! I'm so glad to hear that things are going well at school for the boys. This move really does seem like it suits you all!
