It is 61 degree's here with 91 % humidity! There are flashing warnings on tv about severe storms near us. Where did summer go. Its not even warm enough to go to a water park or lake beach area. So far summer has not been fun. I sure hope we can make up for it in the following weeks. Poor kiddo's are getting bored to no ends! The rain is supposed to last the rest of this week.
On a brighter note. The kids did go miniature golfing with their cousin Jordan and Steph, had an awesome time. Then left there and went bowling and of course they bought the kids a bunch of snacking things too. They had a great time Saturday evening. While dh and I went to the "city' for some alone time and a date. We checked into a nice hotel, then cabbed over to a Japanese place for some good food. They put on a great show while cooking, and the waiter was a very good singer too. We walked around downtown for a bit then sat on a park bench and watched the show of people go by on a Saturday night, heading to clubs and dinners and shows. Then just relaxed for the evening. It was very very nice.
Tomorrow night dh and I are going to a rock concert at a little casino venue. We are seeing 3 Doors Down. It should be lots of fun. Then weather permitting we may do something fun with the boys on Friday. Dh will take a vacation day for Friday for some family fun.
